Boxing Day
On Boxing Day, the Slaters and the Pipers came over, bringing leftovers from Christmas to share. The TV was not set up yet, but Jacob connected a pair of "Bunny Ears" to the aerial cable so the blokes could keep an eye on the cricket. The cousins always know how to have fun when they get together. In the afternoon, the fellas all helped to assemble a BBQ that Mike had got for Fathers Day.After too much food again, the tide had gone out, so the kids all went out to play on the mud flats:While the "Mums" looked on from the Boatshed:
(Apparently assembled in height order, or is that Kate cheating again?)
Having lived in "the Shire" almost our entire lives, we have been tirelessly planning our humble abode for over 5 years now. We previously lived at this location between 1984 and 1992, and have been captured by the mild climate and sensational northerly aspect across the North West Arm of the Hacking River.
We hope through this blogsite our Friends and Family can watch our progress as we enter the final stages of turning our dream into a home.
This blogsite is developed using an iMac PowerPC G5... Gotta love the Mac; it just works!
